Deric Wan: A Hit Sent Him Flying into the Air
(Top left)
Since we were little, our mothers would teach us to be careful when crossing the roads. We should pay attention to the traffic lights and cars, and not do anything distractive like Deric Wan. He was walking and talking on the cell phone at the same time, and ended up being hit by a car which sent him flying into the air. This is definitely good reverse teaching!

Who was Deric talking on the phone with, that distracted him so much causing him to cross the road without paying attention... ...

Car Accident Ending Scene
(Middle right, photo of Deric being hit by car)
Actually, being hit by a car is only a script requirement. Deric himself follows all traffic rules on a daily basis! A martial arts stuntman does the car accident scene. The crew put a lot of effort into this scene. (Middle, photo of Louisa taking picture) Even Louisa So couldn't resist taking a photograph of the action.
(Top left, photo of car hitting Deric)
Indeed a car came, hitting Deric causing him to fly into the air!
(Middle left, photo of Deric lying on the ground)
Deric fell on the ground and rolled a couple of times before becoming unconscious.
(Bottom left, photo of Deric on wooden cart)
Deric had to lie on top of a wooden cart, while the camera man filmed his quick facial reaction. Deric said even Hollywood movies have to use this method!

Fun in the Heat
(Bottom center, two photos of Deric with his handkerchief)
That day the temperature went up to 34 degrees celsius. Deric, with his suit on, was suffering from the heat. But he was in good enough spirit to have some fun despite the heat. He demonstrated that a towel can be used either for wiping away sweat or disguising as a scarf!
(Bottom right, photo of Deric by the dock)
Looking at the dock brought some memories back for Deric. Over ten years ago, when he was shooting [City Stories], him and Roger Kwok would often come here to fish. It was a great FEEL!
