After 6 years, Deric Wan is preparing to release his new mandarin record at the end of the year. His best friend and music composer, Tsui Ka Leung, makes a special trip to Hong Kong to supervise Deric's singing. Working together for 10 years, both men, with Scorpio Sign of the Zodiac, not only have similar lifestyles but also similar taste for food. Two grown men can chat on the phone for 2 hours. What would they discuss about? "From religion, politics, music to fashion. We will talk about anything except women."

Fate can be quite miraculous. Deric Wan was strolling on the streets of Malaysia in 1991, when he heard a song called "To Part Within the Heart", composed by Tsui Ka Leung, being broadcasted from one of the stores. He loved it so much that he went in search for Tsui Ka Leung's local record producer. In 1992, Deric released "How Long Can I Love Her" and in 1994, "We Are In Two Different Worlds". With Tsui Ka Leung's help, Deric's voice successfully moved many Taiwan fans.

Tsui Ka Leung and Deric Wan, both with the Scorpio Sign of the Zodiac, have very many similiarities. Tsui Ka Leung loves to drink Hong Kong's lemon ice tea and Deric Wan loves to drink Taiwan's pearl tea drink. They will drink it everyday and sometimes 3 times per day. When it comes to their favourite foods, they will even eat it continuously for a whole month. Deric says, "We will never lie. We may seem very calm in appearance, but when we're with close friends we can become quite crazy and chat a lot. That is why we must spend at least 2 hours chatting."

Tsui Ka Leung has been a music composer for several years. This year he is releasing his own Taiwanese collection of "Man's Songs". Deric Wan, who doesn't understand Taiwanese, says that the music is excellent. "Ka Leung composes music that is first class and he has a great voice." his good friend Deric Wan ensures. Ka Leung is very happy. He has even gone to Wong Ta Sin Temple, to pray that his record will sell well and that Deric's year-end record release will be a success.
