Since Deric Wan and Sonija Kwok started dating, they have gone through many difficulties. Recently, Sonija has shifted her words and placed her lover a grade down to the level of good friends. Apparently, this is dropping a hint that they no longer have an intimate relationship, along with the fact the two have been working apart for a such long period of time, that any change in love is almost certain!
However, who is to know that this (grade drop) action is purely a cover-up related to TVB's view of the couple's (pineapple bun love) exposure which has resulted in Sonija's work coming to a standstill. Her TV series, "The Last Breakthrough", still does not have satisfactory ratings. Because Sonija is a TVB's management contract artist, to avoid any obstruction to any future development, she has finally decided to keep their relationship low-profile and underground.

In the event that the male and female leads are not in Hong Kong, Deric who is currently filming "Lei Wai Chi Guan" (translated to "Lei Wai Resigns From Official" in ShanXi, emphasized during the interview that their love has not change.
