The final episode of "Misleading Track" achieved its highest television rating of 39 points. The leading actor, Deric Wan, who did not have time to attend any previous promotion for the series, appeared the night before last especially to invite the series front and backstage crew to a banquet. The attendees included Louisa So, Christine Ng, Cindy Au, Sam Chan and others. Bowie Lam was unable to attend because of his work schedule. "Fat Wen" (Deric's nickname meaning acute disease which is a play on the pronunciation of this name), said "I was did not put in any effort for the series promotion. Even the series actresses wore swim suits. Therefore, I hope this time the treat is on me. But Louisa has quick hands, so I hope to pay the bill quicker then her!"
A while ago, "Fat Wen" was filming in Shanghai for the series "Da Qi Hero". The leading actress was South Korean. The language barrier plus the scenes of Deric as a super hero who fought 38 people, made the filming quite difficult.
As well, yesterday Deric returned to the mainland to film a CCTV series. Did he visit his former girlfriend, Sonija Kwok who is presently filming in Beijing? He frankly replied that he has not because everybody is busy. Has he kept in contact with Sonija Kwok? He said that, "As friends of course we keep in touch." She has been filming hard, have you asked how she is doing? "Hard work is certain, but there is no need to ask." Regarding their breakup, he replied, "Are you still talking about this. This is already old news. Now we must concentrate on our work." Rely on work? "I always rely on work. Right now we do not worry about love matters. You do not have to worry about me. I've grown up now. I sincerely hope that her (indicating Sonijia's) work goes smoothly and she is happy"
